Time for new brake pads...which one's?
07' G35 coupe MT sport package non-brembo
Should I go w/ OEM, hawk, Posi Quiet, etc.? I will not be tracking the car so my only concerns are no noise and good bite? If I go w/ OEM who has the cheapest prices? Thanks

I need new pads too but I'm planning on tracking the car in the next few months so I'm looking into EBC YellowStuff pads. EBC makes impressive claims about quality, design and materials. don't know if any of it is true. Anyway, their RedStuff pads are a more agressive street pad and I think their Ultimax pads are a direct OEM replacement. Might be worth looking into.
lol, great minds think alike! I have an E46 M3.
I have concerns w/ aftermarket brake pads causing noise. Is this the case typically?

Im running Akebono Street Preformance Ceramic Pads. They are quiet and their grip is very simular to my oem pads...but the ASP pads have a more predictable "grab" where the OEM ones it was almost a snap on the initial grab.

I went with the OEM pads just because they are performing well for me. I do autocross events and a couple track days a year. I may try hawk in the future but I have read mixed reviews on them..wanted Nismo but the price is rediculous..I run racing brake fluid so it helps.
I last outfitted my 2003 sedan AT with Akebono pads and Kiriu rotors about 25K miles ago. When I took it into the dealership yesterday (after a 4 year absence!) they said the rears are dangerously low, at 3mm (new is 10). The fronts are at 6.5. Wondering if this is normal.
not bad, mine need replacement at 40K miles.
