anyone have the whiteline rear subframe bushings?

i had the white line rear sub-frame bushings installed and the differential bushings and it is making a clunking on hard shifts. is this normal from the stiffer bushings or should i look into it? does anyone else have them installed and does their do this noise?

It's not "normal", but it is common. Although it depends on the application, Whiteline typically uses a very hard urethane material on their bushings. Their bushings are usually a lot harder than Energy Suspension's.

Very common phenomenon is that the harder bushings is making gear lash more noticeable, therefore making pre-existing quiet clunking noises even louder.

lol the gear mesh from the diff and the gear mesh from the trani and the rattle from the lightweight flywheel and vibration from the short shifter i have come to live with its a noisy car but the clunking i mean is when i shift hard it sounds liek it clunks like the subframe bushings have play in them almost more of a light banging as the subframe takes up the slack. it was made alot more noticable when i went to the heavier duty clutch

Is the OEM rear diff bushing still intact?

I have SPL solid diff bushings and I never noticed any clunking. I would suggest checking torque on everything to make sure nothing is loose

Did you installed the rear sub-frame bushings yourself? If so can you give me any pointers, thanks.

Make sure you have the strength to put it back before you drop it...

I personally met a a guy who dropped the diff, but was unable to put it back up and nobody was able to help him. Ended up taking the cab to work before someone was able to help him. The cost of cab was more than the installation.
