easiest way would be to lay the car out. mark the tire with chock where the fender sits at. take the tires off, then take the shocks off, put the tires back on, lay the car out again and see if you went lower than you chalk mark. if you did. then its the shocksOriginally Posted by Gorg3ou5
and how do i know if its the shocks bottoming out
if you are just trying to get some replacement shocks i would go with the tixico blues or whatever that brand is. same brand that makes the d-specs

The difference is in the control, also with the rocker switch i don't think you'll be able to adjust the corners individually. You might want to look into getting brass fittings; the one that came with my kit were plastic.

if you are talking about the plastic push to connect fittings. those are a lot better than brass fittingsOriginally Posted by sindaddy

Reno from Accuair swears by the plastic PTC fittings, but i've notice that the plastic fittings didn't "bite" into the hose as much as the brass fittings from Parker. i've read that the hose have to be perfectly flat with PTC fittings, but i'm still having leak issues... ie. my car would be fully deflated after sitting for 8hrs.

post pics of your trunk set ups!
ken- is there a bracket needed to make the "floating tank" or you jus bolt it straight on to the top of the trunk

Accuair make a "floating" compressor mount, pretty cool just installed myself yesterday. but i'll be intrested if there's a floating tank mount.
most people that do the floating look either use the accuair bracket like sindaddy said or they make there own. personally i dont like the floating look because with alot of the tanks out these days it doesnt put the drain port on the bottom. and without a water trap you will get water in your tanks from condensation that the compressors make.
also. i wouldnt reccommend putting your compressor upsidedown either because the cooling head is meant to be on top. if you flip it upside down like i have seen people do it can overheat a lot faster which is always bad

uhm...not quite as good handling as coils but pretty good still. and if its installed wrong or you get ****ty parts it will fail. but thats true for everything
