I'm seeing some very tiny cracks(~1-1.5mm long, very narrow) on the exterior of my bags, should I look to replace soon? No signs of leaking. Thanks.

Its your bump stop.. You need to remove that and cut some of it off for you to be able to go lower. Hope this helps.

I'm beginning to think this is the way to go, I love the idea being low and static but it's just not practical where I'm at. Couple questions though before I start piecing things together...

The parts list in post #2 looks like it was last edited last year, is that still the way to go or does anyone have suggestions for things they'd do differently?

Ride quality: I know it's going to be worse than my BC Coilovers when they were first installed and unmolested, but how does it compare to stock - assuming sway bars set on full stiff?

Handling/Performance: I'm not going to be drifting or taking it to the track, but I enjoy driving on curvy roads, should I be worried?

I love the way my car looks low but it's almost undrivable at the moment so it's not doing me a whole lot of good. Would love some input from the pros on the above.

Thanks for the great thread and info, any feedback would be great.

So, stupid question, perhaps, is this a stand alone solution? Whats the approximate cost of a kit?

EDIT: Plus what leksikon said

how old are the bags that you are talking about? 1-1.5mm is REALLY small and i would not be worried about it. the bags i have on my current project look like **** and have tons of those 1-1.5 cracks in them. its normal and unless they start getting big or the bag starts leaking i would not worry about it.

The parts list in post #2 looks like it was last edited last year, is that still the way to go or does anyone have suggestions for things they'd do differently? those are still all very common parts and i would still recommend them to anyone.

Ride quality: I know it's going to be worse than my BC Coilovers when they were first installed and unmolested, but how does it compare to stock - assuming sway bars set on full stiff? the ride should not be worse that coilovers at all. they it should actually be a very nice/smooth ride. unless you are driving around aired up all the way or aired out completely the ride should be nice

Handling/Performance: I'm not going to be drifting or taking it to the track, but I enjoy driving on curvy roads, should I be worried? there are a lot of autox people that run air ride setups on there cars and they still do great.

I love the way my car looks low but it's almost undrivable at the moment so it's not doing me a whole lot of good. Would love some input from the pros on the above.

Thanks for the great thread and info, any feedback would be great.

Bumpstops are located on your shocks, they prevent the shock from completely bottoming out. Its illegal to run without them but you can make them quite a bit smaller. I've upgraded all my shocks on my setup but yes you can be this low with oem shocks! Hope this helps

So what all fittings are needed? Just threaded to ptc to connect to valves and tank or are there other ones need as well?
