What goes bad after 1-2 years with Air bags, You said the maintainance is checking for cracks in the bags and leaks in the lines. Why wouldnt you be able to put some type of "oil" or like wd40 (oil may not be the right word) on the rubber bags to prevent it from cracking. Or am I full blown retard with this.

If you got bags would you routinely replace air lines every 1-2 years and be good to go or do the bags end up going?

you ever see tires that have stress cracks all over them? thats what will start happening to the bags. and unless you know of some type of "oil" that you can put on your tires to stop that from happening then i dont think there is anything for your bags. the bags are not neccissarily going to wear out in 2 years. you might get 3-4 years out of them. i just replace them at 2 years for my own comfortabililty and i have seen them fail at that point. seams start getting weaker and can start leaking.

Not sure about competitive drifting but for the odd corner here and there they work just fine!

UAS has a built rx-7 drift car running their air system.

I'm sure there's a write up somewhere, but there's a vid linked on their site as well as the myg37 forums:

$1000 to install Air ride suspension with digital gage. Is that the going price for the install or is that expensive?

hi guys im planning of installing air suspension on my G but I have some question

-how many mile can I put on my stock strut(with UAS bags) before they start leaking
(I have 50000mile on in)

-What the best : one or two compressor?(for daily drive and show)

-does anybody know how much is the UAS bags only(front and rear)

-is it cheaper to buy the parts separate or in kit?

-whats the best management at a good price?I know that E-level is the top but what about V2 autopilot whats the diffenrence?

-and for those with aftermarket wheel....I just bought a set of 20X10 +20 offset and I would like to know if someone is running a similar setup without rubbing?

just for the info I will do all the work my self I am a heavy truck mechanic(18 wheeler) so I know how air system works so I will save a lot in install price and air parts(hose and fitting)

Thanks

to add to the post above me... has anyone tried the airlift autopilot v2?

http://www.airliftperformance.com/co...ilot-v2-27671/

http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...&v=A5KsU7dSdTY

looks kinda cool, they are local to me i might have to stop by and see what they have to offer for the g.

what size cups do you guys recommend to start with for the rear bag mount?? i understand they can be cut down, but what is a good starting point.

i went through the 1st 15 pages and didn't see any mention. please update the 1st page (2nd post) with this info!!

just to clarify, is that 4 inches total for each side? (ie order 4x 2inch cups)

or 4 inch individual cups (ie order 4x 4 inch cups)

i will give airlift a call and see if i can stop by sometime in the next couple weeks and report back

Any thoughts on the Air Runner setup? Seems expensive and they saying it's "bolt on."

no the 4'' is for the upper cups. when you buy cups they come in a set. the tops will most likely be 4'' and the lowers will be 2''

get it if you want. you must be rich. or dumb. the kit in post 2 includes all that and more and is a third of the price.
