does anyone know if the energy suspension front arm bushing kit also work for my 2005 G35x..the kit comes with inner and outter front lower control arm, upper control arm, and compression rod bushings...i called energy and z1motorsports and both arent 100% sure if they will fit..they said it will work on a rwd sedan though..im sure nissan didnt change bushing sizes but i wwant a 100% answer before buying.i even called infiniti to get part numbers for the bushing from my X and was going to match it to a rwd but the guy said they dont have part numbers for just the bushings.

Hi
Did you ever find out if the bushings fit the 2005 G35X?

the compression rod bushings are the same. 2 diff part numbers for the alloy 2wd arm and iron for the iron awd arm but my friend accidentally ordered one of each when he was changing some out on a 2wd sedan...and they are identical. i guess the sleeve that the bushing is molded to is a diff metal...but spec wise they are the same. now for the other bushings i am not sure yet, but im almost positive they are the same. atleast i confirmed one bushing for you. i say order the kit.

Thanks for your help. As far as the other Ctl arm bushings, i find it hard to believe a large volume mfg like nissan would create new bushings just because its a AWD car. it would be so much cheaper to use the same ones.

Now i need to figure out which kit to order, whiteline? energy? and whether i should just reorder the compression rod bushings from nissan or get some nicer ones.

Thanks for the info. I've been trolling around for days trying to decide if I just go for it and get the Energy compression rod bushings. There is NO information out there and this is the first post I found that confirms the same size bushings between AWD and RWD.

I hate my G35x sounding like a mid-seventies Pinto going over speed bumps!

Hmm hopefully you guys are still around, I just called ES and they said it doesn't, but on the otherhand my mechanic says that it does. Yet he's gonna order it and if it doesn't he won't charge me

Here's the thread for any of the X's

But I don't know if my mechanic would modify the part like using a drill press to make it fit perfectly.

If you get this installed be sure to post the info. Money doesn't grow on trees ㄴㅇㄴ
