VDC, Slip light on

I never heard of the car turning off because of this.. the steering wheel is hard to turn cuz the engine isn't running. My very first guess would be to check the brake fluid and brakes.. because if its very low, and u went over a bump, the fluid in the master cylinder tilts, making the sensor think its low and throwing on the slip, vdc, and brake lights.. when u went over the bump, the fluid became even in the master cylinder and the lights went off. So check the brakes and fluid.. if its very low, just put more in. That would be the easiest thing to check.
