Uneven brake pad ware?

I had to change my rear pads and rotor today bc the rear passenger side pad was completely gone and eating up the rotor.

My question is, the other rear pad still had around 30% of pads left while the passenger side pads were gone. Only the metal end was left.

Shouldn't the pads be around the same? Why is one side completely gone, while the other side still good??
Both rear pads/ rotors were changed at the same time last 1.5years ago.

Or they way nissan proportioned the brake pressure to that one particular side??

Uneven pad wear = rebuild your brake calipers..Something caliperwise is sticking, binding, frozen etc. Google DIY brembo caliper rebuild or something similar to that. Rebuild kits for Brembo calipers are extremely inexpensive. Lastly, there could be an obstruction in the line somewhere. So check lines and hoses.

just did my rears today. on both sides the pads were down to the bare metal and the outer pad had maybe half still there compared to new ones. the guide screws seized and had to end up ordering new calipers and rotors.
