I am going to carry on with my order though it is with guarded optimism. Installation seems to be the biggest variance in the quality of the product. I'm going to get these put on by MNR in Vancouver- the guys I know and trust to do any and all work on my car... and if they put them in using the supplied grease and follow the supplied guide by ES and they STILL squeek then I will make sure I let everyone know about it.

I have passed on this thread link to those at ES to hopefully get their feedback and some assurances- so we'll see where that ends up. I'll pass on any info if they don't come in here and weigh in on their own.

I bought my kit directly from ES and it didn't even come with grease and an installation manual??

why is the bushing sticking out on the right side of the a arm in the 1st pic?

Sounds like something I'd be taking up with them... by the sounds of it proper installation and that included grease are important- though as was mentioned earlier in the thread maritime grade grease is recommended in the absense of that provided by ES or vendors on their behalf.

Just saw all the negative reviews on them and can't see why. I'm from Toronto and don't have any problems except one or two creaks when backing out of my driveway from the bushings, other than that they're silent.

I've stored my G for the winter, but even on chilly October mornings I had no problems. I didn't use the supplied grease, instead I went to Partsource and got some Mobil1 Synthetic grease for about $5 for a large tube. Also used this grease when installing my sway bars almost 2 years ago, no squeaks.

i did it at my mechanic's shop and followed him up until he was done. im not lowered maybe thats y i dont have a gap?

SG did mine, but they're closed now. I got the ES master kit and haven't installed all of them as of yet, I'll be going to APH in the spring for the rest.

how about selling me ur control arm bushings from the kit ?

I paid less than $300 for the whole kit, and it covers bushings on the entire car front to back. Well worth the money to get your own kit and replace bushings as they wear out.

I thought it would be an upgrade or better to replace all at once? Should I just replace the control arm that is damaged and keep the rest for later?

Yes it's an upgrade. You can do whatever suits your budget.

After doing more research on the interwebs I'm finding more people confirming poly bushings will eventually squeak in colder weather because the suspension wants to move but the harder poly bushings dont have as much give as rubber
