i have a mix of polyurethan whiteline bushings (lower control arm) and SPL bushings throughout the car. Haven't heard my whiteline poly bushings squeek even once and I've had them in for something like a year + now. Even now in cold ars weather. I'm finding it very surprising that the polyurethane Energy bushings are so squeaky....they're just about the same thing ....hmmmm

Some have reported squeaks with Whitelines as well

Giving the bushings a shot of spray lube every two months does not seem unreasonable to me for the benefits. Seems like if you change your oil or stuff is squeaking... jack it and spray it. :-)

Mine goes on in the spring. Complete kit. I will post my experience.

Damn this world!!!!

I guess im just going to go with the Nismo harder rubber bushings, better than OEM but not as strong as poly, but also without the squeak

I ended replacing all my front busing with the ES kit I had bought. I am really pleased with the bushings. So far I don't have any additional squeaks, but the previous squeak I would get over bumps is still there. While we were installing them, I noticed that my ball joint is leaking on both sides so maybe the squeak is from there?? As far as handling, ride, performance, etc I cannot be any more happier. Great upgrade IMO. I am wondering if changing the rear bushings would be worth it??

I would recommend you do a combination of SPL and Nismo bushings. That's exactly what I did for my rear knuckle and control arms. Essentially pick and choose which ones would have the biggest effect on Toe and Camber changes while cornering and use SPL, then use Nismo for the rest.

I'll prob do this for the LCA once my whitelines start making noise: SPL for innermost bushing and nismo for shock mount bushing. I think its a descent compromise.

yea I would love to do SPL and Nismo, but they're so damn expensive compared to poly or OEM bushings

the Nismo lower control arm bushings alone cost $110 for the pair

Did you notice a good difference when changing the rears?

I did notice a difference, but it certainly wasn't huge nor nearly as obvious as changing out the lower control arm bushings with whitelines and compression rod bushing with SPL. The front bushings were immediately noticeable as soon as you pitched the car left or right a few times with the wheel. The rear knuckle bushings on the other hand are only much more noticeable when you start putting a lot of lateral stress on the rear end and I never took my car to the track before installing them so its hard for me to comment.

Honestly I would only change out the rear knuckle bushings if you intend to track the car, otherwise it's not really worth the time and effort or just change out the diff bushings to solid ones, I felt like that made a bigger difference than changing out the knuckle bushings.

Any input on this? I'm about to order ES bushings.
I live in Puerto Rico (mostly 75 to 85 temp) ...also, very humid.
