Sorry I don't mean to jack your thread. So 350 Tien springs will fit on a G? May i ask why you would use 350 springs? Does it ride lower? Whats the difference between the G springs and 350's? I about to buy a set just not sure which ones to go with...

Z springs will fit a G, but lower about .5 more than what is advertised for a Z. check brakes/suspension forum for a sticky on all the spring specs. that will give you all the info you need.

I've heard others say this, what is so bad about progressive springs? Leaning towards the Z eibach pro kit, just don't have much info/pics of them on G's...

not an expert or technician, but this is just the opinions of a 45 year old who enjoys driving and has driven a lot of different cars through the years.

there is nothing wrong with progressive springs as many here run them on their G's. progressive springs are designed more with comfort in mind versus just performance. I would consider them as well if it were not for the wide range of rate from intial to final on most progressive springs for the G. Z progressive springs are probably a better choice if you go that route.

if you were to also track your car, a linear rate spring would be a better choice for ultimate control and handling, but it you are just driving on the street, you would most likely not notice the difference. the only thing you may notice is an increase in comfort, especially on the broken pavement which seems to be everywhere these days.

if our roads were like an F1 circuit, then I would recommend you stay with linear rate springs like our cars came with from the factory. there is a reason for that. remember that Infiniti targeted the BMW 3 series when they developed the G/Z platform.

for me, I prefer the firm, controlled ride offered by linear rate springs...not jarring. like a proper German sport suspension will feel. pair your linear rate springs with good shocks like Tokico D-Spec and you will have a good beginning for a proper sport suspension setup.

^Great info, much appreciated.

With the roads here being total crap the progressive springs would be welcomed. I'd probably go crazy with stiff linear springs, would rather a smooth G ride. Not to mention they are equal drops front and rear, and of course a lower drop.

Z Eibach pro kit it is! =)
