The "perfect springs" - lots of research done
Alright fellas, I've been trying to decide on the "perfect springs" to lower my 03 coupe with for the last couple months and have narrowed it down between the following:
-350z Tein S-Techs (drop of 1.1"F and 1"R) Spring rates in LBS 386/402 (estimated front intial rate is 327lbs). Cost $175.
-350z Eibach Pro Kit (drop of 1.5" F&R) Progressive spring rates in LBS initial/final front 296/384 initial/final rear 316/421. Cost $225.
I really can't decide between the two. These will be going on stock shocks, and I have oem 18's. Might roll on oem 19's soon, aftermarket wheels later on. I already have a SPC rear camber kit and toe bolts. I won't be putting too many miles on the car, but I do go over 10 good sized speed bumps a day. Not really concerned about driveways...haha. I have a N1 front lip as well. I want that "lowered look" but I want to be able to drive at the same time. I'm thinking the eibach will be a smoother ride, which I'd like (since it's already kinda bumpy), correct me if I'm wrong.
Suggestions/comments welcome, appreciate it!

save up some $$$ and change the shocks when you do your springs. do not pay for the labor twice as your stock stocks will not be good for long.
then get some decent linear rate springs like RS*R Ti2000 for 350Z, Hotchkis for 350Z, Tokico D-Spec for 350Z or the Swift Sport for 350Z as mentioned above.

Thanks for the info.
Not concerned about labor costs at all, my buddy is a mechanic and we can swap them out quickly. I put some OEM 19" rays on today and the car rides a whole lot smoother than with the stock 18s. The tires on the stock 18s just seemed like super hard rubber for some reason w/ 35psi. So now I'm pretty sure the shocks are fine.
Will I be able to get over speed bumps without too much trouble dropped 1.5" all around? I want to go lower than the Tein I think, just want to make sure I'm good w/ speed bumps and the progressive springs not being bumpy or bottoming out, etc.

would be interested in an answer here since I am considering the Tokico D-Spec springs for the 350Z which should drop 1.5F and 1.5R. my car is not a daily driver though.

would you mind posting your wheel/tire specs. do you rub at all in rear? did you have fenders rolled? did you do the spring mount mod? thanks.

I run similar setup 19x9.5, +19 245-35 and 19x10.5, +19 275-35 and I am on 350Z D-spec shocks and 350Z RSR Ti2000 springs with SPC camber kits front and rear, but my car looks jacked up compared to yours. can't believe your back end dropped that much with the Swift as they are supposed to be the same 1.1 drop as the RSR. I still have a full 2 finger gap in rear. I am thinking of going with the Tokico D-Spec 350Z springs as they are supposed to have more of a drop, but I can not find anyone running these on a G coupe for advice. the drop looks right on a Z, but have not seen them on a G coupe.
