Aftermarket Rear Camber Arms w. OEM Toe Bolt
Aftermarket Rear Camber Arms w. OEM Toe Bolt
Hey everyone. ok so i tried to search but couldn't get a definite answer. So i recently lowered my car with 350z s techs. I went in to get an alignment and they couldn't get the rear camber back to spec but they got the toe back it spec. So my question is if i go with an aftermarket rear camber kit (SPC or ichiba) do i need to change out my toe bolts also or i can leave it cause its to the spec.? To adjust my alignment? I have a 03 G35 coupe.
Thanks in advance.
Also from the 03 and 04 the suspension didnt change right? the guy at mavis couldnt find the oem spec for a 03 g35 with 18inch, so he used the oem specs from a 04 g35 18in. should still be the same right?
Thanks in advance.

Your gonna need the toe bolts, because when they correct the camber the toe will get worse !! I had camber arms installed and my toe is off worse than before.. NEed to borrow a dremel !
Best advice is to get the SPL rear camber adjusters. How did the fronts come out, I doubt you were even close to OE specs. Now would be a good time to get the complete kit unless you own a tire store. The '03 & '04 with 18" wheels should have the same alignment specs....Gary

You can run an aftermarket camber arm with your toe bolt. However, your toe is going to change because the camber will change with the new arm - camber always changes toe. I ran my ichiba rear arm and stock toe bolt/nut because the bolt and nut that came with the kit didn't fit properly. However, I recommend changing the toe bolt as well because my stock one started to slip - hence why I upgraded to SPL's products.
IIRC, 03-04 have the same alignment specs. 05 has it's own. and 06-07 have their respective specs depending on rim/sport package. Again IIRC, the only difference is the max amount of camber. Minimums all stayed the same.

Yeah, i got the ichiba arms but it didnt come with the templet so i have to find one. Lol smh
A lot of $$ no, not when you consider the cost of new tires when they prematurely wear out on the inside edges. SPL front camber arms cost about $500 installed, that's about the cost of your first set of front tires, your next set in 10K miles will cost you the same or more. How long do you wait to do the job right, and how many sets of tires will you go thru before you wake up....get the idea?
