Also because I live in California, I don't often deal with the cold as much =)

Thanks for the review! I've thinking of doing the my front bushings for a while now but did know which one to use whiteline or spl. Btw, im also lowered and where driver's side inner control arm bushing go is bend. Is there anyway to fix it? Or can it be replaced? Added a pic. The bend is at the top where the bushing goes.

Has anyone had whiteline bushings start making noise? I need to replace my bushings and I'm not sure if I want OE or whiteline.

My primary objective is just a smooth, noiseless ride. I don't need anything performance oriented, but the whiteline bushings seems like they might last longer than OE?

It is possible that after a while your poly bushings will make noise. Simply regrease them - and back to normal. With correct installation you shouldn't have to regrease except every few years.

Whiteline last 10x longer than the OEM. I went through several OEM bushings before installing whiteline. I loved them to the point I started keeping some in stock to sell.

^yeah. Plus makes sure you use the right grease. Silicone grease is what's up.

Do any of you have the SuperPro compression rod bushing? They call it a Radius rod or a strut bar, but it's definitely this bushing SPF2847K. If this bushing has a donut inner shape similar to their products for other applications, this could probably be the best non-bearing solution. http://www.superpro.com.au/tradeview...999501025&vid=

Superpro looks interesting. Maybe I'm overthinking this: how would you buy? They're in Australia.

I bought them from enjukuracing.com and installed them during the holiday. So far so good. Definitely cleaned up the mid-turn wandering (read: toe-change) since I had bushings that were starting to tear. The ID is definitely donut-shaped, which allows both constraint and freedom in the correct directions.

So I've had my Whiteline compression rod bushings installed for about a year now and started noticing this weird clunk/creaking sound coming from the driver's side. While everything was tight and looked fine with suspension hanging low (tires removed) as soon as I jacked up the suspension to driving position it was apparent my compression rod bushings were shifting. It's almost like they need an even bigger washer on the top.

Here's some pics of the suspension lifted into driving position, you can see the bushing is mushrooming at the top, like it's trying to be pushed through the compression rod. I've emailed whiteline support, we'll see what happens. I think a better design would be a press fit bushing, like the shock mount and inner control arm bushings that I also have installed.

Top half is mushroomed up, separating the bottom half.

Notice the slight gap on the bottom bushing here, like the top half is pushing down on it:

Update?

I was just about to order the Whiteline bushings but decided to check this thread once more and saw the reply above mine. This is making me consider the SPL bushings again. Have any of you received a positive response from Whiteline regarding these issues?

I'm not sure if the poster above you saw my review in the original post, but I stated that if you receive the bushings that come with the large washers, the problem is solved. I've had mine on for as long as I have posted this review and they are still running solid. I highly recommend these for anyone still considering them. It looks like the poster above yours did not have the washers installed.

Sorry, forgot to follow up. Whiteline was very responsive and sent me a replacement set right away, they stand behind their product. I just haven't had a chance to instal the new set. They don't have any plans to design a press fit bushing, but he passed my recommendation on to the engineers for consideration.

Thank you both for the quick reply. I'm glad to hear white line was very responsive to the feedback they received. I'm going to go ahead and order both the compression rod bushings and both upper and lower control arm bushings from Amazon. I'm currently at 168k miles on the original bushings and can't wait to feel the difference once these are installed.

So you did have the 2 large washer installed when this happened?
