Compression rod install question

So I've looked over all the DIY threads and I've noticed that some suggest tightening all the bolts when the car is on the ground while others say nothing about this. The FSM also seems to say that the bolts should be tightened when the wheels are on the ground.

Redpearl, I think those procedures assume you have a four post lift or something similar that allows you access to the vehicle with all four wheels laden, something most of us dont have. In any case, I was able to get to the 3 brace bolts ( i have an 06 g35x so its that little "triangle" secured by a 19mm and two 14mm bolts) with the vehicle on the ground with no issues. I couldnt think of a way to tighten the 19mm bolt at the spindle with the wheels on so i jacked up the spindle to about ride height and tightened then. Clearly, that is highly subjective but, it was the best I could do.

This is definitely one of those- I removed everything over the weekend and ran into the infamous seized bushing. I wasn't going to mess around with it and risk snapping that bolt so i put everything back together and dropped her off at the dealer today. I get her back tomorrow.
