changing brake pads?

hi,
i got around 9300 miles on my coupe, how often do you guys change your brake pads? i think mine are going already..

I just had mine changed at 13k . Its covered underwarranty so it didnt cost a dime.

I don't know for sure, since I never got a notice in the mail. But supposedly the brakes from non-brembo 03' and 04' coupes are covered for 3/36, because of premature wear problems.

Personally, I have 22,000 miles on mine, and my brakes are fine, so I don't know.

I think I have 50% front brake pad life remaning and 80% in the rear at 230,000km. I guess lots people slam on the brake all the time

Its covered under the first 12 months, just like your windshield wiper blades. This is to cover any "freak" problems with wear n tear items. I already had my blades replaced for free.

well with my mileage, im not sure if my wear is normal, but they sqeak sometimes and they feel rough when i press on them sometimes.. could be the weather but i dunno

This is not to sound like a smartass, but you change them when they get low. If you remove your wheel, you can see the amount of material on the pads without removing the caliper. Everyone has different driving habits, so mileage isn't really a good indicator...
