My rear sway bar links got noisy after 10,000 miles or so, the stock replacements are cheap ($13.00 each) and have beefier joints than the originals. I guess Infiniti knew they were a weak link.

Frankly, I'm surprised that none of these aftermarket sway bar kits include new endlinks. So you're saying the stock Infiniti replacement endlinks are better than the stock endlinks that came with the car? I'm confused...

Yup, must have been updated for '05 but they're definitely bigger ball joints than the originals.

Ok that has me curious so I just went out into my garage, I used a dial caliper and measured a old 03 front end link and a revised end link on the car. Both ball joint head's measured the same 25mm and 30mm across. Just to say it, this is another one of those things where it would be a good thing for me to be wrong, but I can't come up with that thus far. Perhaps it's time to visit my dealer's part's department for a printout.

thanks for the info. that was the front that broke on you?
what stiffness settings do you use again?

I should probably just get a pair of the stock endlinks and keep it in my
garage, huh? I don't foresee my fronts breaking, but the rear will
probably fail sooner or later.

The bolt's that went into the sway bar end's were a few mm longer. Given that my oem end links failed at about 24K, I don't think they will be the last set I have to buy. I just wish that the Nismo part's were a lot less costly. Though I'd hate to have a set of those to fail in the same way as the oem parts.
