DIY Brembo rear brake pad replacement
DIY Brembo rear brake pad replacement
anyone got a link to one? I know there is a front brenbo DIY guide at g-owners.
I also did a search, I could just be blind too, but I didn't find any in the Brake or DIY area.
Thanks!

cool, keep us posted. i think im going to do mine too this summer or
atleast dissassemble mine and clean it completely. mine are squeaking
at moderate temps. if completely cold or hot it makes no noise, but at
those interium temps...kinda noisy at times.

Okay, replaced my pads today. Took a few shots of the rear just so you guys could see, but like Afro said, the rears were just like the fronts.
For you guys that replaced pads for the OEM brembos, were your OLD pads all chewed up at the edges and angled too???
I still had good thickness on my stock pads, but I think after driving 28k, it should be a good time to change.... plus the edges were looking horrible on them.

Hmmmmmm.... new pads feels good (better than the worn down OEM ones at least) .... I wonder if the edges is what causes the Brembos sqeeling... I haven't tried braking hard yet... just trying to break them in... braking slowly.
After I give my car a wash, I'll be able to see how much brake dust it produces....supposedly it's a lot less than the OEM pads.

also, performance brakes hate to be pampered.. you need to step on it
while using shorter braking distance or you will end up with crap building
up on the shoe (glazing).
