Can I buy Brembo parts at Discount Auto Parts?

Guys,

I am looking to replace the pads I have on my 04.5 Brembo brakes. I drive the car alot and its my daily driver, not my weekend car. So do you think they have cheap replacement pads for our Brembos? I know tire rack has some for under 40 bucks per axle but i was wondering if i can get them locally....

THanks

And you will get gouged on the price, most likely.

Pep Boys can come in handy if you need something in a pickle.. but their prices are usually exorbitant. Anytime I replace parts on my vehicles, I always call around and Pep Boys is almost always like 20% more expensive than all the other places I've called.

Just last week, I called around to get some prices on a set of belts for my Tacoma, and just about everyone else was selling them for about 12 bucks a piece. Pep Boys sold them for about 17 bucks a piece(just to give you an example).

I'd say order the parts online if you want to get the best deal on them.

Why don't you just go to the dealer and have them changed for free? Unless you are over the 36,000 miles warranty period.

one thing that always bothers the hell out of me is why on a very nice car would anybody go the cheapest route on brakes and tires,it is just plain stupid. good brakes and tires slow the vehicle much better then cheap ****.and yes i am in the auto repair bus.
