anyone have caster problems after lowering?

anyone have caster problems after lowering?

i just put tein s-tech springs in my car, got an allignment so that the toe and camber are withing spec but now i have different caster on the front right than on the left is there any reason why? is there any way i can adjust caster without buying a caster kit?

no, i don't think there are kits that can adjust caster...

what are your AFTER measurements?

7.8 on left, which is within spec and 9.0 on right which is out of spec. my car pulls to the left. i dropoped it off at the dealer today so hopeuflly they can fix it for me

I just got my alignment done this morning & caster is at 9.5 left and 9.2 right.

dang, how low's your car? your cars like the casters on shopping carts.
wobble wobble wobble..

i can't remember off hand, but mine was close to 8 - 8.2 range.

The only suspension change I have are from 350Z H-tech's and Nismo sway bars. *shrug*

high positive caster increases high speed stability but also increases low speed steering effort.

hummm, not sure you're getting such high caster from just the 350z h-techs.
my car's lower more than yours, i think.

yep, you're right. my head was thinking backwards.

well, seeing as how caster is not adjustable it may have just been out of whack from the factory like that...it doesn't affect tire wear at all.

old thread but did you guys ever solve the problem? my passenger front wheel's caster is out of spec which is why my wheel is rubbing the fender with 20's. My driver's side has no problem with rubbing because it's within spec. It's pissing me off. anybody solve the problem? thanks

SPL front camber arms have caster adjustment as well.
