Do I need to replace my shocks?
Do I need to replace my shocks?
For the past month my car has started to squeak on bumpy roads. Thinking it was a bushing I checked and lubed them all and still squeaking. So here is a description of the problem.
after the car has been sitting for a while, lets say overnight. I will not hear the squeaking for a few minutes of driving but once it starts it doesnt go away. So one day I pull into the garage right after I just started to hear the squeak so I start to shake the car and I hear it loud and clear coming form the front of the car. If I get out of the car and start to shake it I will hear the squeak but if the car is parked for a minute of two it cant be replicated anymore.

How is the ride quality? If it rides normal then no. If you push the front of the car down a few times and let go, if it bounces like crazy then they are blown but if not then Im sure you are fine.
Which bushing did you lube? On 240sx's its the bushings for the tension rods are worn and cracked. It could be many things...

I SWEAR GUYS, After 5 minutes of driving it begins and if you park it right a way and start to shake the car you can hear it. After a minute of being parked I am not able to reproduce it, it goes away after the car is settled??
