My God, I've read this thread from page 1 and I'm still a bit confused.

I've honestly read two different trains of thought here with respect to Z springs

Unrevised Z springs

Same spring rates as sedan sport suspension = happier shocks (of cousre, this is only related to the back as the front rates are the same)

However, more bouncy - the reason they were revised in the first place

Revised Z springs

Different rear spring rate, which could potentially wear out the shocks in the back faster

However, stiffer ride and better performance (or at least less bounce).

My situation

I have an 04 sedan, sport suspension. Looking for about 1" drop, on the cheap, for mainly cosmetic reasons. Here is my ride on summers (sorry...don't have anything else online with a clear view of the car...ignore the women):

Would really appreciate any input/feedback!

Niiiice! So, which is your ride, the one on the left or right?
If you're looking for some nice 1" drop, go with Revised G/Z combo to get the leveled look. Pick yourself up some Z suspension as well. I had mine exactly like yours, only with stock 17's.

^ I'll ignore that quip!

BTW, just curious - what is a reasonable range to pay for a full Z suspension? There's a guy selling one, very close to me with 14,000 kms...but he's asking for $450 which is definitely steep.

What would you pay for a FULL suspension?

What he ^ said. I paid $175 for all four springs and shocks/struts from a revised 350Z.

I have 2008 Z full suspension on my 05 sedan, and i love the drop/ride quality. Get the whole set up tho, i wudnt recommend getting just springs wen u have an option to get the shocks/struts too. If u look back a few pages u can see my g with the drop.

I have a full Z suspension on my car. It was put within specs no problem. Stock toe bolts in the back as well as stock A-arms in the front. I have no abnormal tire wear problems.
