i recieved a quote for my suspension and brakes to be done.

Hey guys,
I got a quote from this one company that they are willling to install my suspension and brake pads for a whopping $300. Is that price rediculously high? How much did you guys pay for your suspension or brake pads to be installed? If anybody can help that would be helpful. Thanks

Define "suspension"...

If it means coilovers, camber kits, swaybars, and an alignment, then that's a good price. If it means installing springs, then NO WAY!

Depends on where you are [local labor rate] San Fran vs Manhattan vs Mississippi vs Iowa.

How can you get ripped off when YOU agree to a price? Maybe YOU didn't shop correctly or YOU didn't have sufficient knowledge? Work is a contract you are offered a price and you accept or reject it.

probably not a bad deal.

75/hr springs can take about 2.5hrs
maybe 1 to 1.5hrs for 4 pads...

Yeah, you're right. But in my mind I still got ripped off. It was my fault cuz I was rushing it and not shopping around.

I appreciate everybody's response. Has anybody installed the suspension themselves? Is it hard to install?
