Is it possible to pay the balance in advance of them shipping? Money sometimes burns a hole in my pocket...

The disc mold is being tested with the casting scheduled to be poured early next week, so far the delivery schedule is looking pretty good.
Very nice! I'll make sure to check it out if I make it to the show this weekend.

Any updates as to when you expect these to be ready, Warren?

One thing though, and i'm hoping RB can answer. I've seen some threads online about how the RB disc material is not 100% compatible with some pads, eventually causing issues with the rotors. I was really hoping to get some Carbotech's (Bobcat for daily, XP8+ for track).

I know Hawk HPS is 100% compatible, but i'd really rather not use HPS again. Never had much luck with them.

For anyone else curious about what i'm talking about:

Sounds great. Not like I can even put them on until my wheels arrive.. but I just wanted an update.

I use Hawks so I shouldn't have a problem with pad deposit.

Yeah, i'm excited myself. It's the only reason i haven't installed the kit yet. So tempted to just use the OEM rotors for now though.

Hehe... I know how you feel, Mike. Especially since you've got those pretty blue calipers all ready to go!

We run into some problem during molding test which required reworking on the tooling. Although the hats are ready on hand, so at this time we are looking towards the end of December or early January for shipment.

Will keep you updated as soon as avaliable.

That's too bad, but thanks for keeping up updated. Guess we can all now think of these are Christmas presents to ourselves.

I like to invite you to review Adam's testimonial on his RX7brake set up in the forum.
http://www.rx7club.com/showpost.php?...postcount=1483

He has RB BBK (front and rear) with open slots two piece rotors. These rotors as you can see were brutally tortured on the tracks but are still running very strong. They are the original rotors he purchased more than two years ago.

We received an inquiry from one of the pre-order members about rotor resurfacing which leads me to think this may be of interest to you.

Thanks

Warren
