Carefull where you buy! UPDATE!

I have been looking for months for just the right G35 at the right price. Then I thought I found it on line at a dealership.
First they tell me it's got a few small dents but their dent guy will fix them, wheel dings too.

We agree on a price but then I notice that in the pic, near a wheel ding the sidewall is sliced! I then spent 45 minutes negotiating a NEW TIRE. I thought it was obsurd that I had to negotiate for a car with 4 good tires! They even agreed that it would never pass inspection as is. I finally had to say "So your telling me your salesman's word means nothing!"

Today I get an e-mail to update me on stuff. The gist of it was, we didn't get one dent completely fixed, so how's the payment coming along. No offer to compensate or renegotiate since the car won't be in the agreed upon condition. To top it all off as I am looking over the paper work I notice they added over $2000 in fees that we had clearly discussed and negotiated around already.

Needless to say I demanded my money back from my deposit and shredded the paperwork.

On a positive note, it looks like I found a better deal on my number one color choice. The first car was my second color choice.

Be carefull all you potential buyers!!!

Mike

Dont buy just for the sake of buying. Be patient and buy what you like the first time around.

Well, after that deal went sour, they called me the next day and offered me an 06, same color, same options, AT COST! I double checked all the numbers for myself and they were being straight with me.

So, I got an 06 6MT, lakeshore slate, premium, aero, performance, for just a hair over 35K out the door!
