Advice on buying used 2003 G35 Coupe (Automatic)?

I am about to make my First Infiniti purchase and I am very excited and little scare at the same time. Any input/advice will be greatly appreciated.

Its a 2003 G35 Coupe Automatic in excellent condition with just 20500 miles on it. Bose Premium sound (6 CD + 230 Watt), rear spoiler, leather interior.
Clean Carfax and Maintainence records. Factory Warranty expired in Feb 2007. Negotiated at 22K for it.

1.) is it worth the price?
2.) should I buy extended warranty now or wait for a year or so?
3.) Should I get it checked by Infiniti dealer before I buy?

Thanks,

EDIT: Buying from private party. Just 1 owner.

Here's my opinion

1.) The price sounds ok, see if you can get it down a bit...

2.) Get the extended warranty, just in case, plus, it's worth it

3.) Def. have it checked by a legit mechanic before the purchase

Good luck with your purchase =)

She asked 23K and I was able to get to 22K, seller is not willing to go down than that. Is it normal, if I ask seller to pay for the inspection cost?

The nearest dealer is 100 miles. Sucks...

Thanks for the input.

Does warranydirect.com good and reliable company to get extended warranty? They quote $1833 for 4 yr/60K miles with zero $$ deductible for Bumper to Bumper (Secure plus).

Make sure you ask what the extended warranty covers I purchased it but it most of them only cover motor, tranny etc. As i later found out it did not cover stereo parts and other accessories.

if i was selling a car i would not pay for that, but it would not be out of line to ask for the copies of the service records for it.

I talked to her and she agreed to take to the dealer for inspection and for oil change/maintainence and pay for it!! wow! she is a real sweetheart.

I checked the records, the only things I see in 4 yrs are
- oil change/air filter changes
- Tire Change
- Fuel Hose replaced
- installed updated shims
-repalced brake lamp switch

She took really good care of it, she refused to let her 18 yr son or her husband drive. lol...

EDIT: I just hope car runs great for couple of years.

That would be wonderful, but is there any way to confirm this? Call dealer or ?

Thanks,

Thanks,
Yes, call up the service dept and ask any service writers they should confirm it and possibly provide you with copy of the warranty, and it should be in the manual that came with the car, or can search on Infniti's website.
