You definitely bring up a good point. When a young guy says that all his **** is paid for by his parents, usually people automatically assume things about your character. But honestly these people judging you need to ask themselves what they would do in your situation. "No dad, let me pay for my own house and my own car!" lol, I don't think so.

If you have the opportunity to get a sweet hook up from your parents, I think it's perfectly fine to take it as long as you're grateful for how lucky you are.

That being said, keep your damn 04 coupe and get it fixed up. You don't need to be making bad financial decisions at such a young age it's just going to set you up for a bigger fall later on in life.

Well if you're paying that much for your car, and still have money left over, why complain about a 600+ car payment? It is your money after all, amirite?

I think you'd be surprised by how many people wouldn't want their parents to pay for all that stuff. Would it be tempting? Of course but what kind of man would that make me if I can't live independent from my parents money? I would have a hard time finding self worth if I knew the nice things I had in life weren't earned on my own merit but rather handed to me. Granted some wouldn't mind that at all I'm sure but things in life are so much sweeter when you know you WORKED for them and did it on your own.

It depends largely on the situation, for me, I busted my *** through college and got into dental school. My parents paid for undergrad and bought me a car when I got into dental. I feel blessed that I have these things now and that I'm working as hard as I can every day to make my OWN future better. On the other hand if you're talking about one of those kids that ask for hand outs from their parents while doing nothing with their lives, then yeah it definitely makes them less of a man.

Yep, because people were all saying noises were normal. And the weird thing was, the sound didn't sound like it was coming from the rear, it sounded like the sunroof was popping.

So one day, I took my car in for an oil change and told them about the popping noise. They took it out for a drive and confirmed the noise and worked on it.
