2004 vs. 2005 G35 Coupe

So I am in the market for a G35 Coupe but I am not quite sure if there is any drop off in performance between the two year models. I can afford the 2004, but I want the 2005. Such a tough spot to be in. Also, how well do these cars perform with high mileage? Thanks for the help.

Go with the 05... You'll regret the 04 later..

the 03-04 interiors are HORRIBLE

The radio is ugly and also you can put a tape in there, the volume button is up and down. All the buttons on the 03-04 look like ugly plastic. The cluster on the 03-04 has the speed is on the left circle while the rpm is on the right. On the driver seat...there's more options on moving the seat in the 05+. That's all i know off the top of my head.

Can anyone post pics of the interior difference?
I don't see much different in the interior besides the radio volume, and the gauge cluster. Are the seats different?

I'm also stuck on the 04 vs 05 dilemma. Mainly because of the OC problem, and yes I'm getting a 6MT.

I know you can get a brand new motor, but someone people were still experiencing the same problem with the new motor. I came from an Acura TL and don't want problems again (they have tranny problems that still isn't fixed by Acura, they just keep replacing them).

guage cluster is a million times classier/better than the 03-04

More powered seats, you don't have a stupid lever like your driving a cheap chevy or ford.

Center console design is better/cleaner

Stereo interface is WAY better on the 05+ AND YOU CAN PLAY MP3 CD'S, 03-04's are not capable of this

You can set up a "shift blinker light" on the 05+... you cannot do this on the 03-04's

thats all i can think of as of interior.

with the 05+ your OEM brakes are just as good as the 03-04 brembos and you get the REVUP motor.. Even with oil consumption you can get it warrantied out if anything happens.

Oh yeah, steering controls light up too on the 05+

You can argue that the 05+ steering wheel is better than the 03-04 (leather vs. plastic) but i would say the 03-04's have nicer steering wheel feels.

Also the sunglasses holder on the 05+ is bigger.

FVCK!!! I HATE MY DAM 03 POS.
