Those are just stock times mostly with large 30" tires. Ive seen even some modified trucks put up blistering single digit times at the track.
But really, any entry level V6 sports car or pony car are all about the same in performance category. None can compare to V8 muscle cars or german performance cars.

^Probably pure track setups if they're in single digits. I have seen plenty of quick AWD trucks at the tracks though, usually diesels.
Speaking of this vs that: I was at Adams Motorsports Park yesterday, a gokart track, and lost to a 4 door Prius by .5 of a second

Not sure why you think the G is some kind of fast car. There are plenty of trucks and suvs that are just as quick as your "sports" car though weighing considerably more.

I've seen a smart car beat a Ferrari too. Doesn't mean that's a normal thing. Its the exception not the rule.
Thats kinda funny. You state that trucks with 5.9sec 0-60 times are fast, but the G (6spd coupe aka the one I drive) is not fast at 5.5 seconds (stock). Weird. Also, the only trucks you lusted that were faster are super specialty trucks that cost a ton of money and are not something you see on the street daily. A Hennessey srt-10? Yeah, I see those just on the daily drive...don't be retarded.
Yes they are specality trucks, because people that buy trucks dont care about 1/4 mile. Truck buyers work about towing/hauling capability. They were just made for a niche market, so yea not many were made. Those trucks might has been expensive at one point, but not now. Those are all 5-15 years old. You can find most of those trucks used for less than 20k.
Also you mean you saw a Turbo Hayabusa in a smart car shell beat a Ferrari. I listed all stock times.

Yeah his automatic with about a whole second slower 0-60 time would totally spank my car.
Dude, you obviously live a very sad life. You go around thread to thread talkin **** about these cars on a G forum. Just get off your computer and shutup. You obviously know nothing about cars and you just like trolling on the web like some loser. Jesus. Just stop typing.

And in a single post I can see your ricer heart breaking as you are face the sad truth that you race car is not considered fast by current standards. I am sorry to be the one to shatter your dreams kiddo. Dont worry, you are still faster than a Scion xB. Just remember, you to go up the road, not across the street.
Sorry I cannot contribute anything as constructive your nuggets such as "My car can **** on my coworkers Camaro" or "Though Ive never been to a track, I once read online that a 6mt G35 can do 0-60 in 5.5 sec, so obviously my car is faster than anything else on the road."
You sir, are truly a wealth of automobile knowledge on this forum. You have reached realms of online bench racing that I could never hope to achieve. I will have to drown my sorrows in a Flying Dog Coffee Stout when I get home tonight. If only you were old enough to drink, I would offer you one to celebrate your victory.

Again, whatever, dude. You're a troll, I get it. Just because the G is 10yrs old it automatically becomes a 92 civic. I get your logic. I can dumb down to your level and wrap my head around it. I used to work with mentally challenged people. Its all good, bro.
Yea? What your quickest track time? You have proof of you 5.5 sec 0-60 claim or was the interwebz BS? We both already know the answer though. I guess I am a troll then... a troll who was modifying G35s while you were still in middle school.
Yes kid, times change and so does the meaning of subjective terms like fast. In 2004 when I bought my first G35 it probably was considered fast. Lots has changed in 10 years. As one of the only original owners around now, Ive had to watch the decline of the community with influx of members like you. Though I hope you havent plastidiped and varrstoened your G yet.
Look I am sorry to upset you hear and tell you the car you were finally able to afford after 10 years isnt considered fast, but that is just the truth of the matter. Would it make you feel better if I told you I dont consider my new car fast either? Your race car G35 is actually faster than 4 of the 5 vehicles I own, I guess that is something to be proud of right?

BTW, I'm not some import fanboi like you are, in fact this is the first non-muscle car I've owned. That does not mean, however, that I don't know enough about cars in general to know that some things are NOT subjective. YOU don't get to say whether or not the G was sold as a luxury car. YOU don't get to choose whether or not the G is still faster than many cars on the road today regardless of its age. The FACT is they were and still are. Just cuz you're jealous of someone else's fully loaded dodge dart II doesn't mean we all have feel like any econobox is more luxurious or quicker than our 10 yr old car.
Go ahead and name 5 cars IN ITS CLASS that are faster. Again, idgaf about your opinion. Nor do I care about your driving skills (or apparently lack thereof if you can't get any respectable performance out of your G)
