Buying used -- 2010 w/ 4k miles?

Does it strike anyone as odd that a car, current year, with only 4k miles, is back on the market as a used vehicle?

A local dealership is selling it but i'm curious as to what could be the reasons for it. Carfax is showing the car was a lease and was only with the previous owner for 4 months.

Lemons aren't put back in the market are they?

Lemons can be back on the market, but this could also be that the owner lost his job, etc and could not afford to keep the car; the owner died; got divorced; change of heart and is loaded with $$$ so upgrades; owner downgrades...Point is--it's not all that unusual and does not necessarily mean the car is bad. Besides, it's still under warranty.

My friend got his 2008 STi in 2008 as a "used" car - with 100 miles on it! No joke- it was fully loaded, too- nav package, BBS, etc. The guy who bought the car drove it for like 3 days then brought it back because he "decided he wanted a truck." My friend has had the car since then and has put a ton of miles on it and it is a great car.

So- yea, sometimes crazy things happen! With 4000 miles on it I am doubting it's a factory lemon.

in most states they have to disclose if the car was a lemon...it can't just be sold as a normal used car.

People get rid of cars with lo miles like that all the time when their situation or needs change, it's not that uncommon.
