Would you buy this? What should I look out for?

Looking to cut my payment on my Bimmer and return to the Infiniti fold. I've had enough of temperamental Germans! Looking at an '07 G37S sedan auto trans w/ 100k miles. Car is loaded, even has adaptive cruise and adaptive headlamps. Hard to tell from the pictures but interior surfaces appear to be in great shape. Original owner has it priced at $15,500. Autocheck comes back clean except for an accident in 2009. According to owner it was a parking lot fender bender and the damage was slight.

I'm a pretty low mileage driver, about 5-6K miles a year, mostly city driving. Obviously the high mileage is a concern (the owner is in construction and says he's always driving all over the place). What should I be on the lookout for? I will bring it to a dealer to have it inspected and to run a service history on it. Thanks for any advice.

Look at the wheels, You can usually recognize a well taken care of car by the wheels. Is the engine bay clean. Did he do the 60K service. Tranny flush? Coolant flush? Diff? Transfer Case? Those are some major things that were supposed to be done Many Moons Ago on this car.

I wasn't aware that they made a g37s in 2007 but regardless (you might want to check on that), it seems like a good car. My car has almost 100k miles and major maintenance has pretty much been neglected until I bought it. My car is an '05 so obviously the technology is older and it should be less reliable in theory. If I were you I would get it but keep in mind it isn't a g37, it's a g35.

It will be a very comparable car to your 335. If its in clean good shape, go for it.
