Hi all, I have been debating about picking up an old Nissan pathfinder, 1996-2001.. with around 100,000 miles for a winter beater.

Wondering if anyone has insight as to reliability or issues with these? I have been finding pretty decent deals and I actually really like the body style...

those pathfinders can be bought for cheap.
if it's just a winter beater, just pick it up.

^^ Very similar to the Pathfinder. I looked into those as well..

I just don't like the wood interior... Makes it look more dated in my opinion.. Also, I kind of assumed the Pathfinder may be a little less costly for repairs..

 

i personally don't like anything wood interior too.

pathfinders are cheaper to buy

 

they're the same car and use the same parts...the infiniti has a nicer interior...drove one for 2 years and it was rock solid

 

i'm assuming the only difference is the exterior looks and it's features.

 

yea the standard nissan crap lol..pay more for blah blah version with leather seats

 

leather seats aren't all that.
most of the older cars/trucks/suv, the leather seats are trashed anyway.

original op want to know of the nissan pathfinder, not an infiniti
don't try to sell an infiniti when someone want to buy a nissan
