Good Buy? Need opinions!!

So I'm in the market for a g35 coupe, preferably 06+ I found one on our local classified site in Toronto, Canada. $15,000 2DR/6MT, Black, Good Condition, Clean title, No mods, only driven 76k.....but has a DEALER replaced engine with all the proper paper work. Old engine had oil leak, it had 137km on it...what do you guys think?

That is the cheapest 06+ they got in my area, other ones go for around $18k+ if you wish to get one with low kms...

The engine replacement you will want to call about should include this:

A long block REPLACEMENT
PISTON RING REPLACEMENT

05+ 6MT's have been plagued by issues of engine issues, so if those two (mostly just the first) is fixed then it's actually BETTER for you! Price is a bit steep but if the shoe fits, wear it

Alright sweet, I'm in the talks with the seller. Really looking forward to getting it, had an 08 V6 Altima coupe, fun little car but it ain't no G. I'm just concerns about the oil consumption issues, I really don't want to deal with all that.

hang on. The old engine had 137,000 miles, the new one has 76,000 miles equaling over 200,000 miles on the chassis? 15k is way overpriced if that's the situation

Yes sorry for the confusion, kilometers.

Engine 76,000 km - 47,000miles
Chassis 213,000 km - 132,000miles

For around $13-14k it wouldn't be a bad buy, with the engine replaced and all right?

I have also spotted a 05 2DR/6MT for $16,500 with 76,000km. Stock...would that be a better buy, I am not a fan of the 05 tailslights though? What do you guys think?

Replacing tail lights would be cheaper than replacing the headlights to the projectors.

Do you have links to the cars that can be posted? I think you would get more input from the forum.

Personally I would only buy 06 or 07, but that's my opinion. Lights & interior are better.

Also price....is it USD or CAD?

Thank you, for the quick reply.
The pricing is in CAD and the 05 is sold now lol.
But im still working on the 06, is a chassis/tran with 200,000+ km gonna be an issue, or will it still last? I want to keep it for awhile.
