OMG lamest excuse EVER! You can drive with one hand on a MT too. Its not like you'll be doing the shifts while cornering. Just make it go straight and shift gears with your left if you want your right hand to be free.

EDIT - Besides, not too many american ppl know how to drive MT so there goes an extra excuse for friends so that I dont have to let them drive.

You still haven't answered my question, and btw I always have a bottle of water in my car. Are you kidding me, it's that hard to take the cap off or take a sip? People like that will never get what driving a manual is all about.

LOL, talked to the infiniti salesman and he said..."if you want comfort/smoothness i think you should get a lexus, but if you want to drive your car, get the coupe in manual hands down." i can't believe a salesman said this when he should try and sell infiniti's lol!

Driving a manual is all about control. As I posted earlier, I can't imagine buying a performance car with an automatic tranny. But a lot of people apparently don't agree with me since I believe about 40% of the king of performance cars, the Porsche TT, is ordered with an automatic.

No regrets for getting the 6MT, but I think the best balance would be if you could press a button to deploy a stick and a clutch petal...and then when you didn't want to drive manual, you could just press the button and retract it all....heheh

The best benefit to a manual is that most people can't drive it. That way when someone asks to borrow your car, you can shut them down by asking if they can drive a stick or not instead of being rude and just saying no

Try not to be "clever" by slamming the people you obviously live amongst.... especially when you have to use broken engRish to do it.

Tool.
