Buying used or buying new?

ok im in a little dilemma here

im looking into getting a g35 since ive decided im done with the "hooking up" scene and i just want something thats gonna be fast stock, and ill never drive a domestic (ie mustang)...i looked into getting an evo or an rsx-s but i think the g35 is by far the nicest car. but with that niceness comes price, especially in comparison to the rsx-s, my second choice which isnt rwd

i spoke with my insurance agent today, keep in mind im 20 years old with 2 points and an accident on my license, and i live in jersey. if i were to get an 03 g35 my payments would only go up 211 bucks every 6 months (35/month) but if i were to get an 05 my payments would go up to 358 bucks every 6 months, who knows with an 06, i didnt ask

so im starting to lean towards a more affordable option by getting a used 03 g35 mt coupe. i just wanna know what u guys think, it seems i can get a low mileage (under 50k) car for more than 5k under new msrp, but what would i miss out on? i know the 06s r gonna have those bixenon lights this that and the other thing, but i could always add those if i chose to do so.

i mean theres nothing better than getting a new car, u dont have to worry about where its been and what its done, but really u can get a 30k mile old car thats just as good as that new car and save a load of cash in the process

i dunno what to do, right now im still just looking really, i havent even test driven anything yet, so let me get some feedback guys

thanks

PS, if ur selling ur g35, pm me

I found my '04c back in Aug. of '04, used with only 4K miles on it. Saved a HUGE amount off a new one and the car was like new. IMO If you can find a deal similar, I'd recomment that. It worked for me.

P.S. be careful of the modding bug, it's a killer.

I purchased my car intending to NEVER do anything to it, because I dropped approximately $10K in a previous vehicle on mods, and I WAS over it. Now look, I've already got the bug again and have gradually begun modding it.

well, some rims couldnt hurt lol

i mean right now i have an accord, rims, drop, kit, lambos, system, car computer, some bolt on engine mods, but thats about it

they only make 1 s/c for my car and its ridiculously overpriced (4-5k) for maybe a 60 hp gain, which still doesnt make my car as fast as the g35, plus my parents r like if we're gonna help u finance the new car (itll be under there name till its paid off) u cant do any modding to it. so obviously i want something thats quick out the gates, and not something id have to do anything to...obviously down the road ill probably end up doing a few minor mods to it, but i dont think ill ever boost or anything like that
