Purchase or not?
Purchase or not?
Fist let me start by sayingthat this is a very inoformative site. I have been going back and forth for a while now as to which car I should purchase. I am heavly leaning towards the 06 G35 coupe 6MT. I am looking for a car that is sporty and also has some luxury to it.
I don't know much about the G so I am hoping you guys can help me out. If I do make this purchase I will absolutely consider either a Supercharger or TT. I wanted to know which set up is best for this car and what type of gains would I see for each. For those of you that have already made this change can you provide me with an average cost.
For those of you that have Navi; would you recommend it or save that extra cash. I know that it is not touch screen or voice activated, is it user friendly.
Any info will be appreciated.
F.Y.I One of the other car I was considering was a TL but I just know I wont get the sportiness of a G and I will lose much hope of FI.

pf...service sucks? hahaha
well lexus barely has any problems (flawless)
answer to your question efuro, some ppl get worse cars than the other ones.
it's been 7 months since i purchased a car and very pleased with dealer, etc
service - fantastic
problem - zero
just wondered tho...w/ money to buy SC or TT, dont you wanna get better car than g35? if you are good w/ installing stuff, FI is a good way cuz it will save you some.
anyways enough of my BS
i think i like nav. even tho i dont own one.
some ppl like a certain type of nav system and rather not get OEM nav but aftermarket w/ double din kit.
if you are going hardcore in terms of mod, i wouldnt get nav.

is350 and bimmers are not in the same price category.
Loaded with things like navi, you are looking at 45-47k easy. (330i not even the m3) On top of that those dealers are not gonna give discounts.
I drove all of them and found, if i was only gonna get a 2wheel drive car, the bmw was at the top. Its simply a better driving car, but its in a whole another tax bracket. The is350 is nice, but priced way too high. For the price the bimmer is actually cheaper and its a far and away the better car. It has great punch, but doesnt handle nearly as well as the bimmer and there is no back seat.
For 10-15 grand less with all of the discounts you get from the infiniti dlrs, NOTHING beats the g, nothing.
As for the navi, the 05 navi was pretty atroicious i thought, blurry, crappy menus and not very responsive. The 06 navi is much better, still no touch screen, but shares the menu/interface from the m series and its great. Much sharper screen. The POI even had lots of the small restatarunts i never thought it would have.
The TL is great btw, much better interior, but front wheel drive. If that fact doesnt bother you than go for it. But if you want to super charge and what not, i think yer gonna appreciate the better performance on the G.
