Oil change in Edmonton
Oil change in Edmonton
So, I'm going on my annual trip to the interior of B.C. I am do for a service, but when I phoned the dealership a few weeks back, they couldn't get me in until mid-September (what a joke). All I need is an oil change (I have about 13,500 KM). The sticker states next service at 13,800 KM. I asked the survice dept. if its o.k. bringing it in a few thousand KM past that as I am going to B.C. The guy simpy stated "well, it shouldn't be much more than the sticker KM". So, I would like to get a change somewhere else with no appointment needed. Any suggestions on where to go here in Edmonton? Simply any Nissan dealership or some other place? Infiniti states they only use 1 grade of oil all year round....what should I get..Mobil?
Thanks in advance for the replies.

I was coming back from BC in May and tried to make a last minute appointment (a day or so in advance) at Ericksen. The told me the soonest they could get me in was about 3 weeks later. I had synthetic oil in so I just used the car lightly for those few weeks. Ended up having an extra 500 or so kms. No big deal.
You could give Crosstown a call. They have a quick lube service. I'm not sure if they only service Crysler vehicles or not (which is why I would call first). We take our Chryslers there. Basically you just drive up and if there is no line you drive in to the service bay and they do the work. If there is a line, you can wait or come back later.
Contact info:

Phone: (780) 488-4881
Fax: (780) 488-0958
Toll Free: 1-800-209-8194
Other than that, Walmart or Canadian Tire or any such places should be fine right?

Thanks for the responses thus far guys. Nexx, really kind of you to offer the help...but I'll be heading to Kelowna (about an hour or so away). I'll have my wife and 3 year old daughter in tow...so the less driving = greater sanity
West End Nissan has a drive through quick lube.
