Hey Shane, I met a 350z driver from Toronto named Steve. He has a great looking car, with all the goodies, including a turbo kit. I'm trying to get him interested in joining us for at least part of the tour.
And it looks like Matt ^^^ wants to join too, which would be awesome. Yesterday we all went on a run through the southern mountains of Vermont with Matt, Steve, and about 30 people from New York, New Hampshire, Connecticut, and Massachusetts. Check out the pics.

Would this be the 350Z that you are talking about:
^^ Why, as a matter of fact it is!
He came down and was passing out Canadian candy bars to everyone. He was so happy to be there!
Have you seen the guages and switches in his cockpit? "Flux Capacitor", "Booster Rockets"

and "Ejector Seat", "Warp Speed", and "Stealth Mode"!!!

This guy was cool! Everyone got a kick out of that.

I recognize his front plate in your pic. He came to one of our meets at Legendary Motor Cars. His car does stand out and is a great guy.

Hi guys...Is anyone else getting anxious about this trip? July 1st is just a few weeks away!
Anyways, I've been doing some thinking about this trip. I'm quite relieved that that we're meeting on Sunday the 1st and not Saturday the 30th...It's a 10 hour drive for me from my house up to Campbellton, and I don't think I can handle that much driving in a single dose. If I had to meet you on Saturday instead of Sunday, I would have had to get up at 3AM Saturday morning to give myself enough time to drive there - 960km straight! But, since we're meeting on Sunday (perhaps by insightful planning on one of your parts?), I think I've come up with a better plan for me, and I'd appreciate your input and advice.
I would like to split the drive to Campbellton over 2 days, by stopping overnight along the way. What do you guys know about St. John, NB? It looks like it's right on the coast (making for some scenic views, perhaps?), and it's about 670km from my house (7.5 hours). I could take a leisurely trip there starting on Saturday morning, get there in the afternoon that Saturday, and check into a motel for the night. Take some photos during the day, maybe visit a dance club or a bar at night. Then drive another 5 hours (450km) north to Campbellton the following morning.
So, what's your opinion of Saint John? I picked it because of it's location on the map, but I haven't even pulled up Wikipedia to read up on it yet - I don't have a clue what St. John is like.
So I ask you, if you were in Saint John for a day and a night, what would you do?
Fine dining?
Are there dance clubs/lounges for a youngin like myself?
Bars?
Open to your suggestions + comments.
Thanks!!!

As for Saint John itself, its' the oldest city in Canada and is directly on the coast. I am in my office right now and am overlooking the Saint John harbour where there is a cruise ship docked right now (although it's rather foggy at the moment). Saint John is a decent little city with lots of older heritage buildings. I think you'll enjoy here if you decide to stay, but definitely let me know if you have any specific questions.
Here is some pics just to give you an idea of what the area looks like. https://g35driver.com/forums/canada/159314-day-hiking-picnic-lots-pics.html
Yah, I saw those pics, I just didn't put two and two together to realize that they were from this area. Sweet!
I would like to see the shoreline in those photos.
Maybe we can hang out on Saturday for a little while, you can bring your new DSLR and we can practice photography!?
Are there any local delicacies that St. John or Canada is known for? I'm into adventurous dining, if there's anything unusual around you can recommend.
What do you know about the reversing falls? Is that worth taking a photos of?
We might as well drive up to Campbellton in tandem the next day, don't you think?

One item that the area is known for is dulse, which is dried seaweed. It's eaten mostly as a snack and is only found in the North Atlantic. Grand Manan, which is an island off mainland New Brunswick is known for the best dulse. Some people don't like the taste of dulse as it's rather salty, but I LOVE the stuff. Click Here.
Seafood is another type of food that is popular here. Fresh lobster, clams, scallops, mussels, etc are quite popular here.
Reversing falls is pretty neat to see and take pics of, although you have time it right with the tides.
Yeah, we should definitely drive up to Campbellton together on Sunday.

...haven't seen Steve since LMC meet.
