Re: Snow Tires Help for sedan

all this talk about winter tires leads me to believe that winter tires are a necessity. but i was just wondering if you guys put the factory wheels back on in the summer? or are the factory wheels not that great. and how much does it cost to re-install them?

The stock wheels aren't the greatest. I find my Bridgestones wear out pretty quickly and lose grip even on dry road. The switch every season would probably cost you anywhere from $50-$100CAD per season to swap all 4 wheels.

It's still a G thang!!

I drove a loaner G35 sedan from the dealership with Toyo Observe G-02's and have decided against purchasing them. They are so loud when braking and the grip is not good at all on dry road. It was not snowing or raining at all and the TCS light was blinking. My stock wheels wouldn't even do that. Hmmmmm...

you really gotta be careful when choosing winter tires and rims, a mistake now could cost you thousands down the road...

THank God for having made the decision to get an AUTOMATIC. Having a Automatic saves me hundreds of dollars. I can actually get away with 16inch tires and rims. With Brembos u cant put 16's. I recently installed one of the best tires on the market. P215/60/16 EAGLE ULTRA GRIP GW3's! Superb winter performance.
