so who else...

...just barely made it to work this morning? what a brutal drive. my snow tires have officially exhausted their useful life. i was fishtailing all over the place. even parking the car took a few minutes... had to disable traction because i just couldn't get the wheel's to budge. scariest part was braking... my car would drift from side-to-side. not a good thing... but it woke me up pretty quickly.

one thing i grinned at though... was at a left turn light... the advance arrow pops up... and it takes me the entire arrow to make the turn... who do u think is behind me? yip.... mister tractor trailer. i've wanted to get those bastards back for years! haha!

drive safe... we still got another 10 coming today.

Giddyup sorry to read that you had a bad trek into work.

Surprisingly, the GO trains were running on time today!! So my only delay was getting to the station.

Everyone drive safe today!

It's about the same out here in Calgary... -20's and snow the last 7 days. Fortunately, it warms up tomorrow and for the weekend, but then all that snow is gonna melt. I don't know what's worse, slipping in the snow or driving in the slop. Patiently waiting for Spring...

LOL, it's bad here in Cambridge.....Luckily I don't have to go out today.....but many people are caught up in it blocking roadways and making snow clearing very difficult.

Be safe everyone.....stay home if you can, otherwise drive slowly and watch out for the other guy..

Giddyup brought up a good point about turning off the VDC if you get stuck.
Sometimes a little slippage is needed to get moving.

Don't forget to turn it back on tho......

Happy Valentines Day to all the gals out there...

My drive wasn't too bad - having to shovel the driveway at 5am sucks though. However, the G wasn't going to go through the drifts that impeded my progress... 3-4 ft drifts > 5 inch (or whatever it is G clearance...)

How are the folks around Hamilton/Stoney Creek/St. Catherines? Weather network was saying that you people would be getting it severe.

Drive safe, everyone.

Yep, we've got that coming overnight and possibly tomorrow. 10-15 cms of snow and then rain with +1 or 2 degrees - not a good recipe.

Yeah that sounds ugly - at least our snow is all light powder - easy to shovel.

Good luck out there.
