Talking Sure sign of Spring

The dog and I just returned from a walk in the bush across the street from my house this evening.

Walking in the bush I finally spotted what I always relate to Spring, the "Trillium", the floral emblem of Ontario . They are only a couple of inches tall so far and are not yet in bloom. In another couple of weeks I hope to see 100's of the white flowers on my trips up there.

Yep Wayne, that's definitely a sign, and not soon enough. We're waiting for the Mayflower here. I'll have to get in the forests a bit to see them.

Awesome Deane the flower of Nova Scotia. Could you take a pic if you catch them in bloom and I will do the same of our Trilliums when they bloom.

I always judge by the amount of women starting to wear skirts and show some legs. That is my way of telling spring is here.

I honestly haven't seen one single sign of spring yet. It's been cold, damp and rainy here everyday this week. This time last year, the local golf courses were open.

On a positive note, it is supposed to warm up some starting on Friday.

Jeez, at least we are only getting rain. I sure don't like the looks of Christian's and Joel's forecast.

Oh, wow , you are right. What a terrible forecast, this weather is sure screwed up.
We normally have our first lift-in of the boats at the harbor this weekend, but due to the crappy weather it has been post-poned till the end of the month. My boat is still in storage .
