You're speaking about land property. That is true. The government doesn't often appropriate land without reasonable compensation but it can does happen at times.

This is complete bs. It puts me in a pretty bad situation since I drive a modified Z and I'm 19. I'm not a participant of street racing. However, I do randomly floor it ever once a while to feel the pull. If a cop sees me do that, he'll most likely classify me as a street racer and given my age, he'll definitely crush my car.

Another point to this law is that they didn't consider streetable track cars, which is what I am building my car to be. I just came back from SpeedStar's track event yesterday. There are a huge number of modified cars, most which are also Daily Drivers I'm sure. They were pretty responsible, I didn't see them speed or do anything reckless on the way home.

Another point to mention is that in the past few days, I've seen plenty of cars racing each other. What shocks me the most is that they are completely bone stock cars, I'm talking about Dodge Intrepid or Mazda CX-7 or Neons. Never have I ever seen a modified car race yet.
