Tint in Calgary
I would recommend Beno at Shadow Tinting, he's not the fastest but he does a great job.

Thanks.
I also noticed you have the 3M clear bra...I got it done too (the dealership threw it in), but on the front bumper where the two pieces connect, I can see the join marks from the clear bra. Is this common? Can you see it on yours? I'll try to post pictures later.
Thanks.

It's normal to see it to some extent as the installer wants to be careful not to stretch the material too much in any one spot as it could result in an orange peel appearance. There is very little gap visible on mine, but if you look at it up close you can definitely see it.

How much did this cost, guys? Did you get front (side) windows done, too? Thinking of getting the rear/rear-sides done. I'm a little concerned about doing the front-sides, don't need a ticket for that.

I've seen plenty of cars with the front sides done, doesn't make it right, but I talked to a police friend of mine. He said they will usually leave you alone as long as your not doing dumb things. Generally, they want to be able to see you in the car as they approach the vehicle. So, go ahead and get a light tint on your sides. IMNAL.

One other thing I noticed... ShadowTint seems to have their scale backwards to what I seem to be reading in peoples posts here on 'Driver. 20% is the lightest they have, meaning it blocks about 20% of the light. 35% is next, followed by 50%, 75%, then limo (which most people would call 5%).
Thanks!! Regarding the ticket aspect, I see lots around and I think you're right they would leave you alone if you're not being an idjit, and I could probably remember to roll my window down before the officer gets to the car, just in case. OTOH, we've had some pretty hot days and so far it's been pretty bearable so I might not bother.

Do you have any pictures of your car with the tint done ?
