I never worry about the mileage either but enjoyed checking it about a half dozen tank fulls since I bought it.

I live about 3 kms from the 401 and have a 20 km commute to work, so I'm basically doing highway all the time. There's no way my car is getting 30mpg. I easily concur with the 21/27 estimate given above. As for the speeds I drive, I'll generally set it at 115-120 and trip the cruise, so I'm not hard on my car at all.
Keep in mind that my car has about 86k on it and just turned 2 yrs old. This is about the point that I notice a huge mileage increase in my 02 6spd Maxima, so much so that I actually attained the EPA highway rating which I believe was about 36mpg or something like 8.5 l/100kms.
I'm not complaining at all about the mileage with the G as I feel it's right where it should be considering the power and responsiveness. I'm going to the President's Cup in Montreal so that will be my next real cruise of any distance and I'll make a point of checking my mileage. Right now, it seems to hover just above 10 l/100km in mostly highway driving.
Congrats to anyone getting over 30mpg as that is very good for a sports sedan, IMO.
