Cold and clear = good astronomy weather!!
Don't jinx it Wayne, we don't want to trade weather with Winterpeg.

It was the same temp here this morning -13C. After I shovelled out the driveway, I went for a nice ride in the G (have not been out in it for a week). Roads are snow covered but not sloppy, love cool mornings like this where the snow crunches under your feet and tires. I wanted to top the tank up since she will be parked for a few weeks while we are south.

Off-topic but my TPS came on for the first time this winter. Tires were from 27.5 to 29 PSI , topped them up to 32 PSI and the light is now out. I guess the extra drop in temp was enough to do it.

Got them wintertime blues.......Bllaaaa!

Yea, I've already got cabin fever and it's only rained for two day straight. I
know we need the rain here in Calif. but how many times can I go to the
garage and polish my Volks...... My heating bill this month will be
almost what my gas bill was last month...... I just saw some sunshine
but it faded.....damn!

Yeah, I find the tire pressures change a lot here with so much temperature variation.

We had -9 this am but it's warmed up to about -5 now. Yesterday we were up to +6 so that felt pretty nice. Tomorrow calling for daytime temps of -28 with wind chill.

You guys enjoy that trip and g/l with finding a longer term spot for next year!

Haven't had mine out since Dec.2 Last couple of years I had it out about 3 times over the winter since temps and roads were perfect.

That would have been a pretty warm day in Alaska.

5 more days
Ahhhhhhh, 89F and sunny.......my my wouldn't that feel nice right about now. Thanks for rubbing it in Wayne.

I'd definitely like to head south with you and K next year, it would be lots of fun. We could invite some other other Canadian G members and have a G meet in the Caribbean.

You know what, that would be awesome. Ian and P (inTgr8r) were with us last year and Alphabit (Peter) and his GF went to the place we go on my recomendations in December this year and he said it was great.
I know it would be an awesome holiday, lots to do, tour Mayan Ruins, snorkel, dive, golf, fish, or just relax. February is a good time to go to break up the winter. Heck you know what it's like Shane, you got married down there .
If we could get a group to go that would fantastic. A G-Meet in the Carribean without the G's.

We have a few parties to go to down there this time with my Loco Gringo friends, we are going to be snorkelling many days, hire one of the locals to take us fishing on his panga, touring the Coba ruins and just going to kick back and relax and take in the rays

Seriously, Think about it.

Wayne

Anissa and I most definitely consider it Wayne. We make it a point to go on a trip or two every year so we have no problems getting away. That would be so much fun going as a big group. There might not be any alcohol left on the resort when we get through.

This thread is helping the wintertime blues!

Mines in the garage and there's a bit of snow on top of it because I left the garage open while snowblowing the drive way.

I'm glad it's helping out with the blues
We have lots of time to plan, and it would be great to get a good sized group on the roster.

That would be great. Unfortunately we're restricted since my better half can't get away other than March break.

You dun gone jinxed yourself. Remember you can use a shovel to remove snow instead of calling in the army.

I haven't been down south since February 2004
