Exclamation Oil Consumption issue regarding 6m/t Rev-up engine

Hey all,

I noticed a bad "tat tat" sound in my engine this morning. So i called Dealer about the OC problem.

The service advisor was pleasant and they did mention that they DO have a bulletin coming up, but have not distributed. I issue the problem to him and he said he will take a look and ask his manager about the problem. Then i hang up the phone.

I was kinda frustrated at first so i took my car in to delaers. I happened to find out the person that i was talking to and he was looking at the same TSB that i brought in. He was nice about the issue and he told me to have the car there for monitor for the day. So i left.

He called me and mention to me that my car was ready for pick up. I got a full oil changed and filter changed and told me to bring in the car after 1600km -6000km.

As i was picking up my car, I was inspecting my rims and etc. I noticed a screw dent at the back of my bumper. I talked to the manager that my car was bump. The screw dent's height was exactly at the same height as the car behind. He mentioned that one of the wholesale guy drove it and it wasnt one of his employee.

Anyways, he was kind enough to fix the bumper.

Well just want to tell you folks out there that CHECK your car before leaving the Stealership!!

That sucks about the dent but it's good they fixed it for you. It definitely is worthwhile to check your car over whenever you leave it somewhere.

Keep us updated on your oil monitoring.

How many Kms on your 05 Sedan now Alan?

Yea i Know it really sucks!! Actually i notice it at my last oil change at Simone. Dave told me that my oil was sooo low that there was no oil mark at the dip stick. He has to pour in another bottle just to fill her up

If they paint your bumper make sure the paint matches.
