rattling sound coming from rear right windows finisher on 04' Coupe.....

Hello Guys,

Just recently I found that there is this rattling sound coming from my rear right windows finisher every time i drive on bumpy roads..

after a serie of stop-and-go self testing, i am able to identify that it's the clothes hanger that's making this annoying noise..

( I have a 2004 G35 Coupe 5At btw..)..

while this is indeed not a huge problem, it does bother me at times so that i decided to leave it flat open for now...

here i am just wondering if anybody has experienced the same problem on their coupe and how do you fix it .. (i realize leaving it flat open would eliminate the noise totally.. but it just doesn't look too cool in a way.. ...)

any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Yeah, my car has major buzzing/rattles from the right rear window finisher and the rear deck lid too. It's been apart for the TSB but that didn't fix it. I may have to tear it apart myself for the second time.

yeah i had the TSB done on my finishers couple of months ago... but that didn't really fix the problem as i am pretty sure the rattling sound is coming from that little dam*n hook.

i was evn thinking of stuffing some cottons to fill in the gap but that'd jsut make my car look even more ghetto than simply leaving it out......

If the trim comes off... you could apply dynamat to the back side....
it will dampen out the vibrations being transmitted to the hook.

I did this with trim piece on my sedan worked like magic..
