The Pool Awaits Me

We picked up a condo complex in Phoenix and possession is in July. I will fit a little R&R at the pool in with the business. Temperatures likely in the 110's but I am ok with that. I love the desert, heat and all. Just hope I have no run ins with scorpions. Found one in the house last time I was there, nasty little beasties.

Lots of great investment opportunites for Canadians in AZ. Our dollar is good, theirs not so good and real estate values have tanked. Lots of long term upside down there (no pun intended).

Anyone seriously considering investing down there can PM me and I can put them onto people that will look after them. I have all the contacts.

Very nice. You're right about the upside down part. There's such a huge supply of houses there and much of the US now it's going to be a while before things move back up. The deals appear to be very good if you know what you're doing and our dollar stays strong before purchase.

Nice i have wanted to buy a retirment home in AZ or the south I might even sell one of my investments to do so. Do you rent it out for now or just keep it empty for when you make trips down? Now is the time to buy in the US thats for sure.

Looks great. Did you pick up a unit or the whole complex? A buddy and I are talking about getting something to share down Florida way sometime at the end of this year.

The house does not get rented, it is also our U.S. Office. We also own a condo that we rent to sun-seekers, associates and people we know. Condo is first class as well. Pics...
