I don't think they were racing...
One probably cut in front of the other, or something similar & it escalated from there.
"There was clear evidence in this scenario that the road rage was ongoing and poured out onto the 401," said Staff Sgt. Scott Lawson of the Ontario Provincial Police.

kinda gutsy for a guy in a pontiac grand prix to brake check a guy in a yukon, had the suv just gone for it rather than swerving out of the way, the outcome would have probably been the exact opposite.

My thoughts too Wayne...Good suggestion....

Should mention not as bad as the person in the article though.
Asad......better to talk now than to have something drastic happen down the road.......-- Good luck.

im not gonna lie
ive done the exact same thing in this article,
this charger cut me of making me go sliding into the ditch ( lucky there werent any pole's)
when i got out i chased him down and cut him of and slammed my brakes
he was going slow so he didnt hit me
but u know i see now stuff can go real bad.

atleast the driver turned himself in after he heard what happened..
i feel bad for both of em i doubt either of them knew what was coming next

At least the guy turned himself in...

Very recently I witness my first ever bit of serious road rage which involved a Camry (the instigator) and some van. They kept trying to run each other off the road, with the van frequently bailing to the opposite lane of traffic to avoid being hit. It all ended with the Camry spinning out 45 degrees into the curb. Mr. Macho driver in his wife-beater paced around for a bit looking for damage. What a fracking moron.

I actually have spoken to him a couple times about it and he has lost some of his aggressiveness but he still tends to get aggressive when people cut him off without signalling or if people do not give him the right of the way (even if he was in the clear which he then proceeds to go through even though the other vehicle is moving).

I might talk to him about this and see if will think twice about his actions but I am not sure on what it might do since my brother and sister have tried for the past ~20 years; never hurts to try though.

The only reason he turned himself in is b/c passerby's chased him down from what I read in another article.

Wayne Winsor definitely wins the goof of the year award. It was 5 am when this happened presumably these two were on their way to work. If someone cuts me off at that time of the day last thing I would do is chase them down, I am way too tired. The best thing to do is call the police and report the incident.

Apparently multiple people on the 401 had reported these two idiots to police before the crash. I don't feel sorry for any of them. A the driver of the SUV chased down the other driver and was going at it with him and B he was not wearing his seatbelt.

they probably think they are invincible or something or they are on crack

I just feel sorry for the other drivers on the road that might get in to an accident because of others stupidity.
