I had a Tiburon, 2003 GT v6. Yeah it looked good, it even hauled ***. But it was a serious piece of Shiit (quality wise) and would not recommend anything hyundai to even my worst of enemies.
So to answer your Question, go infiniti!

On a serious note, I've actually heard some good reviews about Hyundai cars, quality and reliability increased drastically for their newer models.

if I had to choose btw a G35 Coupe and Genesis Coupe and the same price range. I would 100% with the Genesis. I always hated the G35 Coupe's ( the front looks like a bug to me ). but if you are comparing it with the G37 then I would go for the G37 100%.
I am not into coupes these days so I love my new G35.

I always saw it as a Mustang, RX8, 350Z, etc fighter.
It's not in the same class as a G/3-series/IS.
It looks like it offers alot for the money. So it can't be overlooked for those shopping for any of the cars I mentioned in the first sentense.

When it comes to styling the Genesis Coupe has the G35 coupe beat by a long shot. Still love the G though. 
In defence of the G. I think there are a few coupes on the road which have stolen the lines of the G because its such a fine looking car.

to me its like this: the hyundai design team was on a time crunch to come up with a new design for a genesis coupe. one guy looked out the window and saw a g35, put it down on the drawing board, made some small modifications and called it a genesis coupe 380gt. this car is just another knock off of the g lovin my g much more now
